Settle yourself in a quiet place, a place where you are comfortable. It can be anywhere, real or unreal as long as you are happy there. Now, take a few slow and deep breaths, sit back and take that few precious moments for You:
“I first met Matt back in 2007 after I had separated and moved to Co Clare. I was going through a traumatic time to say the least. Matt instantly made me feel comfortable and at ease. I had been to a counsellor before but here, with Matt's help, I learnt over time that my happiness and control over my life was in my own hands. Through the techniques I learnt during my sessions at A Cherished Mind, I learnt how to relax and regain control for myself. Matt was at all times patient, kind and a great listener, I still use the methods he showed me to take stock before reacting and now life is so much better for me because of this.”
“I am happy to say I found that the environment was safe and secure and altogether relaxing. The counsellor was professional and overall it was a very helpful service with great care and attention given to my specific needs. I would not hesitate in recommending "A Cherished Mind". As the saying goes, "Why not take that first step?" - I'm glad I did, it's changed my life forever, and given me a way to live as a happier and more complete person.”
“I attended Matt at A Cherished Mind Counselling for depression. He was calmly confident in his attitude and immediately I knew he was both knowledgeable and experienced. And so started my sessions. Knowing I was in good hands and made to work out my issues in a professional way taught me that when I start feeling as if life is getting too much I can use the tools and methods I learnt to work my own way through it. Now "I" am in control.”
“This changed my life around. I really wasn't convinced that counselling could help me and was very nervous making the first call but it was a very welcoming and relaxed environment and Matt was full of understanding & gentle guidance. He gave me plenty of time, and for the first time in a long time I felt fully accepted with no judgement made on me. I think this is what helped me want to help myself more. Top marks & thanks.”
