“I first met Matt back in 2007 after I had separated and moved to Co Clare. I was going through a traumatic time to say the least. Matt instantly made me feel comfortable and at ease. I had been to a counsellor before but here, with Matt's help, I learnt over time that my happiness and control over my life was in my own hands. Through the techniques I learnt during my sessions at A Cherished Mind, I learnt how to relax and regain control for myself. Matt was at all times patient, kind and a great listener, I still use the methods he showed me to take stock before reacting and now life is so much better for me because of this.”
